The LC/X new series of vertical long-axis pumps are a new generation of vertical long-axis pumps optimized and designed based on the original LC vertical long-axis pumps with the premise of improving the safety, reliability and performance of the pump. Its flow range is large, and the conveying medium is clean water, or sewage containing small solid particles (needs to be flushed with clean pressure water), corrosive industrial wastewater or similar liquids. It can be widely used in metallurgy, mining, chemical industry, papermaking, tap water, thermal power station boiler circulating water, urban water supply and drainage, fresh water, seawater or similar liquid water intake projects.

Structural characteristics
  1. The bearing components of the LC/X long shaft pump adopt a double rolling bearing structure. Many manufacturers produce long shaft pumps with only one thrust bearing component, which can only bear the weight of the pump rotor and axial force, while the radial force of the pump cannot be well balanced. Causing faults such as bearing heating, high vibration, fast wear of guide bearings, and easy loosening and leakage of packing glands and packing during pump operation. The LC/X long shaft pump adds a deep groove ball bearing above the original thrust bearing as the radial positioning of the entire rotor component, ensuring a good balance between axial and radial forces and a smoother and more reliable pump operation. This structure has obtained a national patent with patent number ZL20062 0044 307.2.
  2. The LC/X long shaft pump adopts an advanced and reasonable bearing lubrication method~constant oil level gauge thin oil lubrication. The position of the interface between the bearing body and the oil level gauge is determined through calculation. As long as the oil level gauge shows oil level, it indicates that the oil level in the bearing body is constant at half of the position of the thrust bearing ball, ensuring good lubrication effect of the bearing; The deep groove ball bearing on the upper part of the bearing body relies on the rotation of the shaft neck (which is designed with rectangular threaded grooves and radial oil throwing holes) to throw oil onto the rolling body of the upper bearing, achieving splash lubrication.
  3. Modular design of common components for LC/X long axis pumps. Classify the general components of the entire series. Currently, the main general components of nearly 80 specifications and models include bearing components, packing components, intermediate guide bearing components, shaft systems, and intermediate pipe systems. This greatly improves the interchangeability and quality of LC/X long shaft pump components, shortens the production cycle, and reduces product costs. At the same time, the original shaft system is optimized and designed with a single shaft length not exceeding 2 meters to ensure even distribution of guide bearings and reduce pump vibration.
  4. Improvement design of LC/X long shaft pump shaft connection method – adopting sleeve type rigid coupling (including coupling sleeve and coupling). The inner hole of the coupling sleeve adopts a large and small head structure with a large bottom and a small top, which is convenient for disassembly and assembly. The surface of the shaft section that matches the coupling sleeve is chrome plated, effectively preventing biting. The two connected shaft sections are equipped with steps on the lower section and elastic retaining rings on the upper section to fix the coupling sleeve and prevent it from falling off and causing damage to the pump. This structure has obtained a national patent, patent number: ZL2006 0044 306.8.
  5. The shaft contacts (coupling and coupling sleeve) of LC/X long shaft pumps are designed at the upper end of each guide bearing frame, and the guide bearings can be installed from both top and bottom directions. In this way, guide bearing frames can be used as support points for assembly section by section on site, avoiding the impact of insufficient factory height on the installation and maintenance of long shaft pumps.
  6. The LC/X long shaft pump has added three different lengths to each shaft system to adjust the depth underwater. For orders with different depths of immersion, a combination of intermediate shafts of different lengths can be used, which is very convenient.
  7. The outer pipe of the LC/X long shaft pump has been changed from an inner stop to an outer stop, using a special tool (core shaft) for one-time clamping and processing to ensure the concentricity of the upper and lower stops and avoid eccentricity between the shaft and the guide bearing caused by accumulated processing errors.
  8. The water guide bearing of the LC/X series long shaft pump adopts a new type of PFC polymer material, which has superior performance in wear resistance, dry wear resistance, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and other aspects compared to the commonly used guide bearing materials in the industry, making the pump operate more smoothly and reliably, with a longer lifespan. And the guide bearing we use has almost no water swelling after soaking for 5 months, making it very suitable for use on vertical long shaft pumps, greatly reducing the possibility of pump shaft locking.
  9. The rotor performs dynamic balancing with an accuracy of G6.3 level, which is higher than the static balancing requirements of general vertical pumps in the industry, reducing pump vibration.
  10. The LC/X new series of long shaft pumps have redesigned some hydraulic models with poor performance, improving pump performance and making the first batch of products pass the national energy-saving certification for clean water centrifugal pumps.
  11. The LC/X new series long shaft pump usually comes with an inner protective tube. When the conveying medium contains solid particles, it is necessary to flush, lubricate, and cool the guide bearing by introducing water with a pressure of more than 2/3 of the rated head; If the pump is delivering clean room temperature medium, the internal protective tube can be removed and a dry start method can be adopted according to user requirements.
Usage conditions

This pump is used to transport clean water with a temperature below 80 ℃, as well as industrial wastewater and rainwater with solid particles less than 2mm and no fiber (requiring clear water to flush the guide bearings). The overcurrent components are made of stainless steel material and can transport seawater and certain corrosive media.

Scope of use

The diameter of the pump is 100mm~800mm; Flow range: 60-5100m3/h; The lift range is 13-120m. Due to the structural limitations of the pump itself, in order to ensure the reliability of product operation, the maximum submerged length of each caliber pump is limited, as shown in the table below:

Lubricating cooling water supply Precautions

To ensure the service life of the guide bearing and the safe and reliable operation of the pump, it is necessary to start injecting cooling water 5 minutes before starting the pump, and only stop it 5 minutes after stopping the pump. If the conveying medium is clean water, a non inner pipe structure can be used, so there is no need for cooling water supply.

Ordering Notice

1. In order to correctly select the pump specifications, main component materials, and pump appearance and installation dimensions according to the conditions of use, the user should provide the required flow rate, lift, distance from the medium liquid level to the horizontal ground when ordering: acid and alkali corrosiveness of the transported medium , density, and the amount of solid particles contained.
2. When there are special requirements for the prime mover, the user should explain the site conditions.
3. If the user has other requirements for shaft seals and leakage, please indicate them when ordering.
4. If the long-axis pump requires lubricating cooling water, the lubricating cooling water and its water supply system must be prepared by the user. The salesperson must communicate with the user on the supply pressure and flow rate of the lubricating cooling water to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings.
5. Special lifting equipment should be used for loading, unloading and installation of long-axis pumps to avoid damage to the pump due to unreasonable lifting.
