The entire pump unit mainly includes: pressure stage pump, front pump, motor, hydraulic coupling (fixed speed gearbox) lubricating oil station, etc. Both the pressure stage pump and the pre-stage pump are radially split horizontal single-stage double-suction pumps.

Technical features
High efficiency, the hydraulic models are all high-efficiency hydraulic models optimized through CFD calculations and verified by experiments. Low vibration:
●Pre-pump: casting pump body, double-suction impeller + radial guide vane + spiral discharge chamber.
●Pressure stage pump: Forged-processed pump body, forged-processed double-suction impeller + radial guide vane + annular pressure chamber.
●Shaft: thickened design to enhance rotor rigidity and operational stability;
●Base: Thickened and heavy-duty design, welded with thick steel plates, adding 50% weight. Both the pressure stage pump and the pre-stage pump are designed to be integrally core-pulling for easy maintenance.

The main water supply pump unit is an important part of the secondary loop system (main water supply system) of the nuclear power plant. As the power source of the secondary loop, during the start-up, operation, backup, debugging and outage of the power station, the main feed water pump unit pumps out the water from the deaerator, boosts the pressure, passes through the high-pressure heater, and passes through the ultrasonic flow meter, flow device and feed water regulating valve.
