KQWS Series Stainless Steel Horizontal Single-Stage Single-Suction Centrifugal Pump
The KQWS stainless steel horizontal single-stage centrifugal pump is made of stainless steel plate stamping and bulging welding and other advanced processes. It is a new generation of centrifugal pumps pioneered in China and can replace traditional IS pumps and general corrosion-resistant pumps.

If the pressure in the pump is lower than the vapor pressure of the transported liquid, cavitation may occur. To avoid cavitation, ensure there is a minimum pressure on the inlet side of the pump. The maximum suction lift H[m] can be calculated as follows:

It can be read out on the NPSH curve in the performance curve corresponding to the maximum flow rate.
Hf – pipeline loss at the inlet (meters)
It is the value corresponding to the maximum flow rate that the pipeline can produce.
Hv-vaporization pressure of liquid (meters)
Its value depends on the temperature of the liquid and the vaporization pressure of the liquid.
Hs-Safety margin (meters)
The minimum pressure head is 0.5 meters
Through calculation, if “H” is a positive value, it means that the pump can operate at the maximum suction lift “H”; if “H” is a negative value, it means that the pump must have a minimum pressure of “H” meters at the inlet. It can operate normally only when the pressure head is installed.
Note: Under normal circumstances, the above calculation is not performed. “H” must only be calculated if the pump is used under the following conditions:
1. The liquid temperature is higher
2. The liquid flow rate exceeds the rated value
3. Large suction lift or long inlet pipeline
4. System pressure is too small
5. Poor import conditions

It can transport a variety of different media including water or industrial liquids, and is suitable for different temperatures, flow rates and pressure ranges. Its typical applications mainly include the following aspects:
●Water supply: water plant filtration, transportation, zoning water supply and main charge pressurization;
●Industrial pressurization: process water system, cleaning system;
●Industrial liquid transportation: boiler water supply, condensation system, cooling and air conditioning system, machine tool supporting equipment, weak acid and alkali transportation;
●Water treatment: distillation system or separator, swimming pool, etc.;
●Farmland irrigation, medicine and health, etc.
The KQWS stainless steel horizontal single-stage centrifugal pump is a direct-coupled pump shaft and consists of a pump, a pump shaft and a standard motor:
●The pump should be installed in a ventilated and anti-freezing place;
●The installation of the pump must ensure that the pump is not affected by the tension of the system pipeline during use;
●If the pump is installed outdoors, a suitable cover must be installed to prevent water or condensation from entering the electrical components;
●In order to facilitate inspection and maintenance, sufficient space should be left around the unit;
●The electrical wiring device should ensure that the pump is not damaged by phase loss, unstable voltage, leakage and overload;
●The pump should be installed horizontally on the base, with the suction inlet of the pump in the horizontal direction and the discharge outlet of the pump in the vertical direction.
The following remarks apply to the curves shown below:
1. The curve tolerance complies with ISO9906:2012, level 3B;
2. All curves are based on the measured values when the voltage is 3 x 380V and the motor operates at a constant speed of 2900rpm or 2950rpm;
3. The test medium is clean water with a temperature of 20°C and without any solid impurities;
4. The pump should not operate below the minimum flow specified in the curve or above the maximum flow specified in the curve;
5. If the viscosity or density of the pumped liquid is different from water, the motor power must be adjusted.
