SP/SP(R) Series Sump Pump
SP and SP(R) series sump pumps are vertical centrifugal slurry pumps, submerged in liquid, used for conveying corrosive, coarse-particle, high-concentration slurries. They require no shaft seals or seal water and can operate normally even with insufficient suction.
The flow parts of the SP series pump are made of wear-resistant metal.
All submerged parts of the SP(R) series pump are lined with rubber, suitable for conveying abrasive slurries without sharp edges.
SP/SP(R) Series Sump Pump
Utilizing a variety of hard alloy or rubber materials for wet-end components ensures a longer service life.
Double-suction, semi-open impeller effectively reduces axial load.
No submerged bearings, eliminating the need for stuffing boxes or bearing flushing water.
Optional suction pipe or agitator for pumping high-density slurries from below the mine pit.
The SP(R) model features full rubber coating for excellent corrosion resistance.
It can operate even with insufficient suction.
The filter-equipped inlet and wide impeller channels reduce the risk of clogging.

1. Vertical, Submersible, and Cantilever Shaft Submersible sump Pumps
2. Bearing Assembly – The bearings, shaft, and pump casing are rationally designed to avoid potential problems during operation in the first critical speed range of the cantilever shaft.
3. Column Assembly – Constructed entirely of wear-resistant carbon steel. SP(R) models feature rubber coating.
4. Shaft – Different lengths of pump drive shaft or suction extension pipe are available.
5. Pump Casing – SP(R) pumps are secured to the bottom of the pump casing using a simple bolt connection. The impellers of the SP series pumps are made of wear-resistant alloy, while those of the SP(R) series pumps are made of molded rubber.
6. Impeller – Double-suction semi-open impeller design; wear-resistant alloy, polyurethane, and molded elastomer impellers are interchangeable.
7. Top Filter – SP and SP(R) pumps use an insert-type metal mesh; TPR pumps use a snap-on elastomer or polyurethane material. The filter is installed at the column opening.
8. Bottom Filter – SP pumps use bolt-fixed metal or polyurethane material; SP(R) pumps use molded snap-fit elastomer material.
9. Discharge Pipe – SP pumps use metal; SP(R) pumps use rubber-coated pipe. All metal parts in contact with fluid are fully rust-proofed.
10. Agitator option keeps solids in suspension. Alternatively, a mechanical agitator can be mounted on an extension shaft extending from the impeller bore.
11. No seals or sealing water required.

The SP/SP(R) sump pump is designed for applications requiring extremely high reliability and durability. Its bearing assembly ensures undamaged bearings even under heavy operating conditions. The pump features elastomer or alloy-lined wet-end components, enabling it to handle abrasive slurries and corrosive fluids.
Applications: The SP series submersible slurry pumps are widely used in power, metallurgy, coal, building materials, and chemical industries, primarily for conveying abrasive, coarse-particle, high-concentration slurries. The maximum weight concentration of the solid-liquid mixture is 45% for mortar and 60% for mineral slurry. The pump can operate submerged in pools or pits without requiring any shaft seals or sealing water, and can function normally even with insufficient suction.

1. The SP sump pump is a vertical, axial-suction, single-stage, single-suction, single-casing centrifugal pump.
2. The flow channel components can be made of wear-resistant metal or rubber. The length of the underwater section can be selected according to user requirements. It features a simple structure and is easy to install and maintain.
3. The SP series sump pump is vertically installed, with the working parts submerged below the liquid surface, thus eliminating the need for a shaft seal. For suction applications, the SP impeller and guard plate are recommended. Some pumps can be equipped with an agitator at the feed end.
4. The pump motor is located above ground, while the working parts are located below the liquid surface.
5. The pump shaft can be partially extended to meet different operating conditions.
6. The rotor is lubricated with acetic acid and has an external grease nipple for easy maintenance.
7. This pump is small in size, lightweight, simple in structure, easy to disassemble, and convenient to maintain, saving significant manpower.
8. The overflow components of the vertical sump pump are made of various metal materials, offering excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance. The product has a low wear rate, and its overall efficiency decreases slowly and steadily as the overflow components wear. The applicable diameter range for the rubber pump is 40~150mm.
