A pressurized water supply device that is directly connected in series with the water supply pipe network to pressurize water supply, using the pressure of the water supply pipe network to ensure that the user’s water pressure, water quantity, and water quality are met, and it is guaranteed not to affect the minimum service head specified by the water supply department.

The biggest feature of laminated water supply is sanitation and energy saving, but if effective technical measures are not adopted, two new problems will arise:
One is the impact of sudden changes in the flow of starting and stopping pumps on the pipe network; the other is the problem of excessive suction for a long time during peak periods. The most fundamental solution is two-way buffering and peak storage compensation.
The characteristics of Kaiquan WFY IV stable current compensation technology are as follows:
- Double buffering (to prevent negative pressure formation and overpressure explosion) with 0 delay;
- Independent parallel compensation, without the need for electric flow limiting valves and high head of the main pump, can achieve minute level compensation capability;
- Intelligent and controllable compensation, input compensation when needed most, and the compensation flow and compensation time are easy to control and adjust;
- Compensation is safe and reliable. The compensation device is much more reliable than the flow controller (electric flow limiting valve), and due to the parallel compensation measure, even if the compensation facility fails, it will not affect normal water supply.

1) Stacking operation: On the basis of municipal pressure, make up as much difference as possible (stacking operation, energy-saving operation), during which the stabilizing tank mainly plays a buffering role.
2) Compensation operation: During peak water supply periods, when municipal pressure approaches the lower limit, or when the renewal cycle is reached, the compensation facilities will be automatically put into operation. It can achieve a compensation water volume of 30s-300s for the designed flow rate.
3) Reduced pressure operation: After compensation operation, if the municipal pressure cannot be restored to normal, the water supply pressure will be automatically lowered, and low-frequency reduced pressure operation will be carried out. At this time, the equipment can only provide partial user flow,
After the municipal pressure returns to normal, restore 100% of the water supply capacity.
4)Low pressure protection: If the pressure of the municipal pipeline network drops rapidly to the lower limit, it is considered that there is a problem with the water source and operation is prohibited. After the pressure is restored, restart operation.
It uses industrial-grade, high-performance programmable controller PLC as the control core and adopts dual pressure inspection to realize speed control and intelligent dispatching of superimposed water supply equipment according to user water conditions and municipal pipe network water supply conditions.
The WFYIV control cabinet adopts a main and backup redundant dual PLC control system. Even if the main control PLC fails due to lightning, surge and other unexpected events, it can still meet the user’s automatic constant pressure water supply by manually switching to the backup control system, making the control system safer and more reliable.
It uses a high-performance, digital, self-tuning PID module specially developed for pressurized water supply systems to achieve constant pressure closed-loop speed regulation, strong anti-interference ability, and sensitive and rapid dynamic adjustment. Constant voltage accuracy ≤0.01Mpa, stabilization time ≤5s. High-performance digital PID ensures the comfort of equipment water supply.
Kaiquan Monitoring Center monitors the operating status of water pumps, inlet pressure, outlet pressure, operating frequency, current and voltage, etc. 24 hours a day, all day long; equipment status warning, alarm, and expert-level diagnosis; fault alarm text messages notify pump station maintainers.

All flow-passing parts (pumps, valves, flow stabilizing tanks, and pipelines) of WFY’s standard products are made of 304 stainless steel, with high-grade matte surface treatment by shot blasting; the pressure-stabilizing tank material is Q235B or 16MnR. The outdoor protective box material is made of galvanized sheet and spray-coated by default.
For optional products, the contract should separately specify the supply scope and material requirements of the complete set of equipment, and the specific specifications of each part of the purchased equipment. Anything not specified will be deemed to be manufactured according to sample standard products.
Pipeline safety and pump lift issues:
When designing the WFY product booster unit, it has been considered that it can superimpose 0.3Mpa municipal pipe network pressure and can withstand the static pressure test of 1.5 times the rated working pressure; the system pipelines and water appliances in the application should also be able to withstand the corresponding static pressure test without being damaged. The pressure level of the steady flow tank is designed according to 1.0Mpa. The pump lift can be calculated by subtracting the required lift from the minimum allowable suction pressure of the municipal pipe network. If the municipal pipe network pressure exceeds the above range, be sure to declare it in advance and special designs can be made.
When the lift of the pump is high, in order to prevent pipe explosion due to overpressure, a safety valve or automatic pressure relief valve should be installed in the pump room and a pressure relief water diversion pipe should be installed to the water collection well.
