In order to further promote the development of the industry and accelerate the technological upgrading of enterprises, the CCTI Cooling Equipment and Cooling Water System Technology Forum was successfully held in Shanghai from November 24 to 25, hosted by the Cooling Equipment Branch of the China General Machinery Industry Association and organized by Shanghai Kaiquan Pump Industry (Group) Co., Ltd.

At the scene, the delegates conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as “Energy-saving operation system of thermal power generation cycle cold end equipment”, “Intelligent design under intelligent manufacturing environment”, “Design and application practice of circulating water system in metallurgical enterprises”, “Cooling tower energy-saving monitoring-standard interpretation”, “Cooling tower environmental noise control under the background of the “Environmental Noise Pollution Prevention and Control Law”, and “Wet air thermal physics and its application examples in cooling equipment”.
As one of the leading companies in the domestic water pump manufacturing industry, Kaiquan demonstrated its product innovation and technological breakthroughs in cooling equipment and cooling water systems to the guests.
At the meeting, Chairman Lin Kaiwen shared Kaiquan’s latest achievements and experiences in three aspects, namely “intelligent manufacturing with quality as the core”, “performance improvement with energy saving as the core”, and “integrated innovation with reducing customer costs as the core”, with the theme of “intelligent manufacturing, innovation empowerment”.
During the period, he emphasized Kaiquan’s innovative advantages and application cases in products such as high-efficiency double-suction pumps, high-efficiency intelligent module pump groups, integrated smart pump rooms, intelligent storage and regulation pump stations, large-scale integrated prefabricated pump stations, integrated pump gates, and smart sewage pumps.
He pointed out that in the face of an increasingly competitive market environment, only by continuously accelerating the pace of technological updates, optimizing product performance, and creating more high-quality, efficient and energy-saving product solutions for customers can we further enhance the company’s competitive position in the market and make greater contributions to the development of the cooling equipment industry.
Wang Dongjin, general manager of Kaiquan Energy and Industrial Division, took “Key Technologies of Cooling Water Circulation System Pumps” as the theme and elaborated on hydraulic research and development, cooling water systems and product development.
He pointed out that the cooling water circulation system pump is the core component of cooling equipment and cooling water systems, and its performance and reliability directly affect the cooling effect and operating costs.
In this regard, he shared Kaiquan’s innovative achievements in key technologies of cooling water circulation system pumps, including the mixed flow impeller design of Kaiquan’s closed cooling tower special pump, the hydraulic design of the open cooling tower special pump, and the integrated design of the high-efficiency intelligent module pump group.
Visit the park
On November 25, the representatives of the conference visited Kaiquan Shanghai Industrial Park at the invitation of Kaiquan. Under the leadership of the relevant person in charge, the groups visited the processing, testing and assembly process of Kaiquan double-suction pumps, high-efficiency intelligent module pump groups, Internet of Things platforms, cooling tower pumps, nuclear power equipment and other related products.
