Project Background
Jingdezhen, Jiangxi, a city with a long history of porcelain, has long been threatened by floods due to its unique geographical location and climatic conditions. Especially in the Huangnitou area in the urban area, the terrain is low-lying, and it becomes a vast ocean during the flood season. In 2021 alone, the area suffered 7 floods, posing a major threat and loss to the lives and property of the local people.
Huangnitou flood control and drainage project
n order to completely solve this problem, the Jingdezhen Municipal Government launched the Huangnitou Flood Control and Drainage Project. This livelihood project, known as the “No. 1 Project”, has a total investment of 458 million yuan. After completion, it will build an indestructible flood control safety line for 58,000 residents, protect the peace of 10.5 square kilometers of homes, and build a solid flood control barrier for local residents.
In this competition that concerns the lifeblood of the city, Kaiquan stood out with its profound background and outstanding innovation in the field of water pumps, and successfully won the bid for the supply of core water pumps and ancillary equipment for the project, providing the project with vertical fully adjustable axial flow pumps, high-voltage synchronous motors, vertical semi-adjustable axial flow pumps and ancillary accessories, etc., and ensuring that every detail is refined.
Kaiquan Solution
In response to the complex and changeable water conditions in the Huangnitou area, Kaiquan specially customized 3 2300ZLQ20-5.04 and 2 1200ZLB-100 vertical axial flow pumps, with single-unit power up to 1600kW and 355kW respectively. The overall design drainage flow of the pump station is up to 63.2m3/s, and the total installed power is 5510kW.
These carefully designed water conservancy products not only demonstrate the excellent performance of high efficiency and energy saving, but also have won high recognition from the owners with their compact structural design, convenient installation process, and strong ability to operate stably under extreme conditions.
During this period, facing the urgent construction period requirements, the Kaiquan project team overcame many difficulties with a high sense of responsibility and mission and successfully completed the project delivery. Since it was officially put into operation in April 2023, the equipment provided by Kaiquan has been running stably for more than a year. Its excellent drainage effect has provided a solid guarantee for the flood control safety of the Huangnitou area in Jingdezhen, and has won wide praise from the local government and the public.
