Kaiquan helps Pingyuan County implement clean heating ahead of schedule

While the cold winds of northern China intensified sharply in early November, thousands of households in Pingyuan County, Dezhou, Shandong Province, were already enjoying warmth. The heating season, originally scheduled to begin on November 15th, was moved up to November 1st this year, providing warmth that transcends the winter’s chill.

This initiative not only garnered praise from CCTV’s “Focus Interview” for its “warmth” in serving the people, but also embodies Kaiquan’s technological commitment and sense of responsibility. As a core participant in the Pingyuan County Western Urban Area Clean Heat Source Replacement Project EPC project, Kaiquan has used innovative technology and robust equipment to ensure a secure heating system, allowing 2.02 million square meters of urban space to enjoy a clean and warm winter ahead of schedule.

Clean Energy Alternatives: Creating a New Green Heating Model

The western urban area of Pingyuan County had long relied on coal-fired power plants for heating, a practice characterized by high energy consumption and heavy pollution, contradicting the “dual-carbon” goals and the public’s expectations.

As a key local project for improving people’s livelihoods, this project invested hundreds of millions of yuan and innovatively selected medium-deep geothermal energy as its core heat source. By constructing two new geothermal energy stations in Beiyuan and Nancheng Park, along with 23 water intake wells, 31 reinjection wells, and a 9340-meter heating pipeline network, a widely covered clean heating network was established.

Technological Breakthroughs: Kaiquan Pump Industry Demonstrates Professional Strength

In the utilization of geothermal energy, heat extraction efficiency and equipment stability have always been challenging aspects of the industry.

To address the project’s needs, the Kaiquan technical team tailored a high-efficiency heating solution: each of the two energy stations was equipped with six KQSN series horizontal double-suction pumps as circulating water pumps, paired with four horizontal single-stage pumps as reinjection booster pumps, forming a precisely matched power system.

The KQSN400-M13W/481 and KQSN500-N19/420 models of double-suction pumps combine a wide-range, high-efficiency design with stable hydraulic performance, and are paired with a variable frequency motor.

This not only meets the energy-saving and consumption-reducing needs under different operating conditions but also ensures the stable operation of the heating system. Considering the energy station’s proximity to residential buildings, Kaiquan specifically selected a horizontal single-stage pump with low vibration and noise. This minimizes the impact on residents’ lives, ensuring both warmth and tranquility.

More importantly, Kaiquan’s equipment is deeply aligned with the project’s innovative technological approach of “heat extraction without water consumption, cascade utilization, and 100% reinjection.”

Through efficient power transmission, it supports the sustainable development of geothermal energy resources. After completion, the project will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 86,000 tons annually, equivalent to planting 480,000 trees.

It not only solves the environmental problems of traditional coal-fired heating but also empowers green development with technology, setting a benchmark for clean heating in northern China.

Early Heating Demonstrates Corporate Responsibility and Warms People’s Livelihoods

“Early heating not only warms houses, but also warms people’s hearts.” As commented by CCTV’s “Focus Interview,” this “race” against the cold wave tests a company’s technological strength and sense of responsibility.

To ensure the smooth implementation of early heating, the Kaiquan team completed equipment debugging and system optimization ahead of schedule, relying on the high reliability of its products and the precise response of its services. This ensured stable pipeline pressure and adequate room temperature, allowing residents of Pingyuan County to feel real warmth during the cold winter.

From the South-to-North Water Diversion Project to various local heating projects, Kaiquan has always adhered to the philosophy of “continuously creating new value for users,” closely integrating technological innovation with people’s needs.

Warming Hearts with Technology

The successful implementation of this clean heating project in Pingyuan County is not only another technological breakthrough for Kaiquan in the field of medium-deep geothermal utilization, but also a vivid interpretation of the company’s philosophy of “warming hearts with technology.”

In the future, Kaiquan will continue to deepen its expertise in the clean energy equipment field, using more advanced technology, more reliable products, and more considerate services to help more cities achieve green heating upgrades. Let the warmth of technology reach every household, and write a heartwarming answer to the people’s livelihood project with responsibility and commitment.
