Liuzhou Panlongshan Waterfall Group Project
The Panlongshan Waterfall Group is a core node of the “Hundred-Mile Liujiang River, Hundred-Mile Gallery” scenic area, requiring long-term, high-frequency operation. The system not only needs to meet the stable water supply requirements of high flow rates and high head but also needs to flexibly adjust the water flow according to the needs of cultural tourism operations. Simultaneously, the Liujiang River has a high sediment content, significant water erosion, and the pump house is buried deep underground and perpetually damp, placing stringent requirements on the equipment’s wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and reliability.
Kaiquan collaborated closely with the design institute and ultimately selected 24 large-diameter KQW single-stage horizontal centrifugal pumps. This solution boasts the following features:
High head and large flow rate adaptability: Based on a mature hydraulic model, it can precisely control flow according to different scenarios, meeting the water volume requirements of the waterfall under various operating modes.
Compact integrated structure: Reduces equipment vibration and operating noise, saves pump room installation space, and reduces subsequent maintenance workload.
Strong corrosion and wear resistance design: The pump body protective layer penetrates 0.5 mm into the metal substrate, effectively blocking water vapor erosion; the entire unit uses imported key components, improving wear resistance and leak-proof performance, and adapting to sandy water flow.
Since the project was put into operation, these pumps have not had any vulnerable parts replaced or major overhauls performed, achieving a zero-failure downtime record.
Haikou Friendship Commercial Complex Project
Haikou Friendship Nanhai City and Friendship Sunshine City are important commercial landmarks in Hainan’s core business district. The shopping mall’s central air conditioning water circulation system needs to operate continuously throughout the year, requiring high equipment stability. Haikou is located by the sea, with hot and humid air and high salt content, making the pump body and sealing components susceptible to corrosion.
Kaiquan equipped two projects with multiple large-diameter KQW horizontal single-stage pumps and adopted the following targeted measures:
High-performance hydraulic model and integrated structure: Improves operating efficiency, reduces vibration and noise, and has a small footprint, making it suitable for limited machine room space.
Direct-drive motor and integrated shaft structure: Reduces intermediate transmission links, improves operational stability, and lowers later maintenance costs.
Electrophoretic paint anti-corrosion process: Enhances the pump body’s long-term corrosion resistance in high-humidity and high-salt environments.
Independent control for each pump: Each pump is equipped with an independent control cabinet to avoid cascading effects from a single point of failure.
Since the commissioning of the two projects, the equipment has maintained zero downtime, no major overhaul records, and no replacement of vulnerable parts, effectively reducing the mall’s operation and maintenance costs.
