On November 14, the 3rd Petroleum and Petrochemical Procurement and Supply Chain Technology Innovation Exchange Conference hosted by the China Petroleum Enterprises Association (hereinafter referred to as the Petroleum Enterprises Association) was held in Beijing.
Nearly 400 representatives from petroleum and petrochemical enterprises, colleges and universities, outstanding enterprises in the industry, and outstanding manufacturers in the procurement and supply chain fields participated in the exchange conference.

The theme of this conference is “Digital empowerment, green and low-carbon, lean procurement, and coordinated development”, aiming to focus on the transformation and upgrading of petroleum and petrochemical procurement and supply chain management, and explore the green, low-carbon and digital development trends of procurement and supply chain.
Promote compliance, intelligence and efficiency of procurement management, promote upstream and downstream collaboration of the supply chain, continuously improve the resilience and security level of the supply chain, accelerate the construction of a modern green, intelligent and safe supply chain system, and help petroleum and petrochemical enterprises to standardize procurement and supply chain management, lean, intelligent and coordinated development. Deng Banghua, deputy general manager of the Energy Engineering Division of Kaiquan Pump Industry Group, gave a professional report on “Pump products help the chemical industry to upgrade and improve energy efficiency”

In order to maximize the energy efficiency of pumps and pump systems, Kaiquan has been focusing on core key technology research and achievement transformation, and continuously breaking through major issues of water resource utilization and energy efficiency upgrade.

In actual operation, pump equipment cannot reach the optimal working conditions, resulting in low energy efficiency and waste of resources.
Deng Banghua said, “First, we tailor “system energy saving” solutions for enterprises through diversified means such as equipment expansion, process improvement, and fine adjustment to achieve refined management.
Second, through technological innovation, customized design of new cavitation impellers, basic research, experiments and numerical simulation, accurate prediction of cavitation margin, guidance of engineering practice, and improvement of pump product performance.
Finally, through intelligent scheduling and simulation analysis, optimize the system layout. Using CFD flow field analysis and Flowmaster software, model and analyze the circulating water system, optimize the pipeline layout, and provide the system flow and pressure conditions after the combination of different pump types of parallel units, so as to ensure that the operating parameters of wide and high-efficiency pumps are efficient as the system needs and environment change, and further improve the overall energy efficiency of the system.”
