The Internet of Things Fire Protection Forum, an academic exchange meeting, was successfully held

Building Water Supply and Drainage Branch

On January 15th, the second plenary session of the China Urban Water Supply and Drainage Association Building Water Supply and Drainage Branch and the Academic Exchange Conference and Internet of Things Fire Protection Forum, guided by the China Urban Water Supply and Drainage Association and jointly organized by the China Urban Water Supply and Drainage Association Building Water Supply and Drainage Branch, China Academy of Building Research Co., Ltd., and Kaiquan Pump Group, was grandly held in Kunshan.
This conference brought together industry leaders, experts, scholars, and enterprise representatives to conduct in-depth exchanges on topics such as “sustainable urban water systems,” “smart water supply,” and “fire protection technology innovation,” and to jointly explore new paths for the high-quality development of the building water supply and drainage industry.

“Kaiquan Cup” Award Ceremony

At the award ceremony in the morning, Mr. Zhang Weiyi, Deputy Director of the Group’s Marketing Department, presided over the awarding ceremony for the third “Kaiquan Cup” Outstanding Young Engineers in the Water Supply and Drainage Industry.

The “Kaiquan Cup” selection activity was jointly launched by Kaiquan and the “Building Water Supply and Drainage” magazine, and has been successfully held for three consecutive years since 2019. It aims to encourage young engineering and technical personnel to actively innovate and promote the high-quality development of the industry.
This year’s selection received applications from 105 young engineers nationwide. After expert preliminary evaluation, online voting, and final evaluation by the judging panel, 15 “Outstanding Young Engineers” and 25 “Excellent Young Engineers” were finally selected. Zhang Weiyi stated during his speech: “Kaiquan has always focused on the future of the industry and is willing to work with all sectors to build a stage for young engineers to showcase their talents and contribute to the sustainable development of the industry.”

Building Water Supply and Drainage Branch Annual Meeting

In the subsequent annual meeting, Zhang Linwei, President of the China Urban Water Supply and Drainage Association, and Zhao Li, Director of the China Urban Water Supply and Drainage Association Building Water Supply and Drainage Branch, Chief Engineer of China Academy of Building Research Co., Ltd., and National Engineering Survey and Design Master, delivered speeches. Professor Ma Jun of Harbin Institute of Technology, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, shared his insights on cutting-edge topics such as sustainable urban systems and water resource recycling.

Kaiquan Chairman Lin Kaiwen emphasized in his speech that, facing the new development stage of the “15th Five-Year Plan,” Kaiquan is leading innovation through technology: in the fire protection field, it has launched IoT intelligent units to achieve real-time monitoring and early warning; in the water supply field, it has created efficient and silent variable-frequency equipment, achieving significant energy saving and noise reduction effects. Kaiquan products have been selected by over 4,000 design institutes nationwide, and have been used in over 27,000 projects. Looking ahead, Kaiquan will continue to collaborate with industry partners, increase R&D investment, and jointly promote the development of urban water systems towards a more intelligent and sustainable future.

Visiting the Kaiquan Shanghai Industrial Park

During the conference, attendees visited the Kaiquan Shanghai Industrial Park. Through on-site visits to the comprehensive exhibition hall, fire pump workshop, large-scale testing platform, and double-suction pump processing workshop, guests gained a firsthand understanding of Kaiquan’s solid capabilities in intelligent manufacturing, precision machining, and full-process testing.
The factory tour not only enhanced the industry’s trust in Kaiquan’s products and technologies but also demonstrated Kaiquan’s commitment, as an industry leader, to providing reliable, efficient, and energy-saving system solutions to users through high-standard manufacturing and continuous innovation.

Academic Exchange & Fire Protection Forum

In the afternoon’s academic exchange and fire protection forum, several industry experts shared their insights on hot topics such as artificial intelligence-based hydraulic distribution, secondary water supply safety, and fire protection system upgrades. Kaiquan’s relevant technical personnel also introduced the company’s latest research results and application cases in areas such as variable-frequency water supply and fire pump system integration, reflecting Kaiquan’s corporate philosophy of always keeping pace with industry needs and driving development through technology.

The successful holding of this conference provided a high-level, professional exchange platform for the building water supply and drainage industry. In the future, Kaiquan will continue to work with associations, design institutes, and industry partners to jointly promote the innovation and application of building water supply and drainage technologies, and continuously empower the construction of green, intelligent, and safe water systems.
