Kaiquan integrated smart pump room helps Tianjin achieve green and efficient heating

In winter in northern China, heating is an indispensable life need for residents. With the enhancement of environmental awareness and the transformation of energy structure, exploring green and efficient heating methods and improving heating quality have become important tasks for local governments and enterprises.

In response to this pain point, Kaiquan, with its deep technical strength and keen market insight, has built a smart heating station that meets local conditions for Wanxin Village in Tianjin, greatly improving heating efficiency and achieving key transformation in energy conservation and emission reduction.

Project Overview

During the project, Kaiquan faced many challenges, such as the lack of existing civil engineering pump room, tight construction period, and unreasonable pipe network layout.
In response, Kaiquan sent a team of senior technical engineers to the site to comprehensively evaluate the use and performance of the equipment and tailored a heating station upgrade and renovation plan for the customer.

The core of the transformation plan is to split and build a new heat exchange station based on the original pipeline network, and introduce Kaiquan integrated smart pump room.

The overall area of ​​the pump room is 6m long*7m wide*4m high. The exterior wall adopts the structure of galvanized steel plate + 10cm rock wool insulation + 5cm sound-absorbing board. The interior is equipped with GXS-R series high-efficiency heat exchange units to achieve highly automated and unattended operation.

Integrated smart pump room

The pump room is mainly composed of digital integrated full-frequency water supply equipment, pipe and valve system, network communication system, video monitoring system, access control security system, ventilation and dehumidification system, noise reduction and shock absorption system, thermal insulation system and other parts.

The equipment is systematically designed and developed with full consideration of outdoor, rainproof, heat insulation, noise reduction, security and other factors, and with the help of current Internet of Things technology, remote monitoring and intelligent operation and maintenance of equipment can be realized.

It is mainly used in water supply renovation of old residential areas with multi-story buildings and rural urbanization construction. There is no need to build a pump room, which has obvious advantages such as short renovation cycle and low investment and operation and maintenance costs.

GXS series high-efficiency heat exchanger control system

Composed of sensors, controllers, actuators and communication systems, it is simple to operate, easy to install and maintain, and has the following advantages:

Small footprint: The unit consists of a water pump, a heat exchanger, a low-resistance valve pipeline and a control system, with a small footprint and a neat and elegant station;

Modular integration: The unit is assembled from a heat exchanger module, a circulation pump module, a water supply pump module, etc.;

Convenient and fast: On-site only needs to connect the reserved inlet and outlet pipelines of the unit, and the power supply is connected to the electrical control box for debugging and operation, which greatly reduces the user’s on-site workload and costs;

Low investment cost: All prefabricated manufacturing saves user management costs, and the installation and debugging of the whole machine ensures the overall performance of the unit;

Short manufacturing cycle: All problems from design, procurement, installation, debugging, later operation and maintenance are solved at one time, and the manufacturing cycle is greatly shortened compared to traditional projects.

Application effect

Since it was put into operation at the end of October 2023, the smart heat exchange pump room of Tianjin Wanxin Village Station No. 2 has performed well throughout the heating season, the equipment has run smoothly, and all parameters and indicators have remained in the best state.

In the future, Kaiquan will continue to deepen its roots in the field of smart heating, launch more advanced and efficient solutions, provide technical support for heating in more cities, and open up new paths for green heating.
