Kaiquan’s high-efficiency water supply equipment helps old communities regain new life

In order to reshape the sense of happiness in this life and promote the high-quality development of the economy and society, the Qinggang County Government of Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province resolutely launched the renovation project of the pump room in the old community.

With its strong professional strength, Kaiquan undertook the supply task of the first phase of secondary water supply and pressure equipment, and became an important force in promoting the “gorgeous transformation” of the old communities in the region.

Challenges and innovations coexist

The renovation project was not smooth sailing. The cold climate in the north, the special structure of the old communities, and the tight project schedule all posed severe tests to Kaiquan’s engineers.
In the face of these challenges, Kaiquan’s engineers have always maintained a positive and innovative attitude, constantly exploring better solutions, and resolving these problems one by one.

• Insulation problem of outdoor pump station: In the severe winter in the north, how to ensure the normal operation of outdoor pump station equipment has become the primary problem. Kaiquan technical team coordinated with outsourcing manufacturers, and after repeated experiments, finally developed a new set of box insulation solutions.

• Troubles of water tank placement: The placement of outdoor water tanks must ensure safety and consider costs. Kaiquan innovatively proposed the concept of “intermediate transition water tank”, which not only improves the safety of water tanks, but also reduces costs, and has been highly recognized by customers.

• Optimization of pipeline design: The burial and insulation of household pipelines are also difficult points in the project. Kaiquan added corrugated compensators by optimizing the pipeline design (side inlet and side out design of household pipelines, pipeline insulation + electric heating). It effectively alleviated the impact of ground subsidence on pipelines.

In response to the special needs of high-rise buildings, Kaiquan cleverly integrated the high and low-level water supply systems into one pump station, achieving dual optimization of space and cost.
In addition, Kaiquan also actively promoted the intelligent upgrade of equipment, changed the connection method of drainage troughs, optimized the design of smart door locks, made it more adaptable to low-temperature environments, and improved the sealing of the box.

Accurate policy implementation and efficient promotion

Faced with urgent construction period requirements, Kaiquan worked closely with the owner to efficiently complete a series of preliminary work such as land acquisition and design adjustment.
By merging outdoor pump station models and taking a small amount of pre-production and other flexible strategies, the overall construction progress of the project was significantly improved.

Results

It is this kind of efficient coordination and precise policy-making work style that has enabled Kaiquan to undertake the second and third phases of the project after completing the first phase of the project.

26 sets of integrated smart pump rooms, 30 sets of fully automatic water supply equipment and 6 sets of direct-connected water supply equipment were supplied to the old residential areas in Qinggang County, benefiting nearly 75,000 households. This has opened a new chapter in the field of outdoor pump stations in the northeast market of Kaiquan.
